Dear Parents of 3rd, 4th, and 5th Grade Students,                

The 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students will be administered the Partnership for Assessment of Readiness for College and Careers Test (PARCC from May 4 through May 11.  (See schedule below).  I would hope that we have 100% attendance on these days.  I also encourage our parents to have the students… 

1.  Get a good night’s sleep.
2.  Eat a proper breakfast.
3.  Be at school by 8:20 a.m.
4.  Do their BEST!

The above procedure will assist with students having a successful assessment.

Dear Parents,

All students in grades 3-5 will be participating in PARCC testing during the weeks of March 2nd to 13th.  The test measures proficiencies in both Language Arts and Mathematics.  Fourth graders will participate in a standardized science assessment in May. 

During this testing period, we ask that you help your child to be successful in the following ways:

  1.  Encourage your child to do their best
  2. Be sure your child gets a good night’s sleep, and eats a healthy breakfast.
  3. Send a healthy snack, water, and a book each day
  4. Make sure your child is in school every day, and here at 8:20.

Parent/Grandparent Visitation Day-Wednesday, October 8;
Visitation times 9-11 am and 12:30-2:30 pm
The PTO will be conducting a bake sale.  No child will be released for lunch without a note and they will need to be signed out.
